Major Denise Crump Lt. Missy Ditchburn

Dear Friends and Family It would be fair to say that we all struggle from time to time with the kind of weaknesses that make us feel useless to God. We listen to the conversations in our head which tell us we are not good enough, we are not tall enough (certainly in my case it's true), we can't sing very well, we are just not good enough. If we were to write our CV for a position in God's Kingdom we would sometimes struggle to feel we wouldn't rate. Such a lie ..... and a script written by Satan himself to derail us from being fulfilled in God's service. What does God look for when he is appointing us in tasks for the Kingdom? It is apparent that He doesn't just choose the competent, the amazing, the gifted. Take the nativity story, God often used ordinary people which He in turn used in an extra ordinary way. "Let's not wait until Christmas to open all our presents", a line often used in our house. Well... what about it? What if I offered you some presents to open today? Luke 2 : 1-20 talks about three gifts which we can open/ have today: Freedom from Fear Joy of Salvation Perpetual Peace and the bonus gift .... Hope. Have a great week. Love and blessings,
