RtI Specialist Job Goal: Serve as RTI Specialist to support and coach at the district, school, and classroom levels in the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of Response to Intervention programs.

Special Knowledge & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree Master Degree (Educational Leadership/Curriculum and Instruction preferred) 5 years teaching experience 3 years campus leadership (preferred) Campus/District Interventionist/Specialist (preferred)
Successful experience with Response to Instruction/Intervention (RTI) Knowledge of research findings and recent trends in RTI Specialized RtI Training and Knowledge (ex. Neuhaus) Detailed knowledge of Response to Intervention structure, process, scheduling, programs, best practices Demonstrated ability to work effectively and harmoniously with administrators, teachers, and other staff Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, both in written form and orally Exceptional leadership skills Presentation development and delivery experience Demonstrate and possess a positive attitude and work ethic, responsibility and dependability. Ability to set priorities and adapt to change. Manage multiple projects and responsibilities. Facilitate meetings and groups.

Coordinate, collaborate, and monitor with district, campuses, and building administrators to design an overall RtI plan (academic and behavior). Assist individual districts and campuses in building Response to Intervention (RtI) Programs (behavior and academic) based on targeted needs. This would include, but not limited to, foundational understanding of the RtI process, basic structures and processes, data analysis, scheduling, and documentation. Coordinate and collaborate with the curriculum, instruction, and assessment team regarding research-based interventions for all students. Provide support to develop instructional and behavior support tools. Plan, implement, and coordinate professional development opportunities. Assess the RTI program throughout the year and make adjustments in a timely manner. Support and assist to ensure RTI compliance. Participate in professional growth opportunities and stay abreast of current research through continuing education, educational seminars, workshops, conferences, membership in professional organizations. Ability to travel to districts within Region 6. Build collaborative relationships with teachers, administrators, other staff, and support leadership teams as they continue to support RTI. $60,000-$77,000 based on experience Please complete an online application at www.esc6.net.
