We are giving consideration to participating in Billy Graham’s My Hope America outreach campaign. This is a nationwide effort to reach people across the United States with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It has many similarities and will compliment our T4T (Small Group Discipleship) efforts. To be involved on a church‐wide level we will need someone to be trained and act as a coordinator. If you are interested in being that person and were involved in any of the T4T training, please contact me (Pastor Reed) by phone or email.

CADE’S CARNIVAL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Cade’s Carnival is a FUNdraising event held in memory of Cade, who passed away from brain cancer in 2012 at the age of 9.The 2013 carnival will be held on the SJBC field on Saturday, September 7. Proceeds will go to charities that help kids with cancer and other life threatening illnesses. Volunteers are needed to man the booths, etc. Please visit cadescarnival.com or www.facebook.com/cadescarnival to signup. Also needed are homemade cookies, brownies, cakes, etc for the Cake Walk. And they could use some help cooking ground beef for “tacos in a sack” on the day of the carnival. If you can provide Cake Walk goodies or help in the kitchen, please call the church office.
