President Report : Southview Principal house burned down. Kolby plays traveling baseball for EVAASuggested that we donate something to support fund. Discussion will be finalized via email. Time to start thinking about sponsorship to EV Community Associationsubmit to Dana. Must be in by February.
Program Updates In House Baseball: No report Traveling Baseball: Next month baseball will present budget in December. Clinic underway...130 kids. Preparing for 2016 season. Coach interviews being setup. In House Basketball: Starting in January. Numbers slightly under at the moment. 3rd grade tournament will happen this winter. Gym space is good. Still looking for new leadership. Traveling Basketball: BB tournament last weekend. Concussion training was beneficial. EVAA team kickoff at high school. Cross Country: No report Nordic Skiing: No report In House Football: No report Traveling Football: No report Lacrosse: No report In House Soccer: Season is done. Budget coming in December. In House/Traveling Softball: Slow time. Clinic info went out early November. Traveling budget will be presented in December. In House/Traveling Tennis: Budget coming in January. Track & Field: Budget will be presented in December. Adding a travel meet in Eagan next spring. Schedule will be done in the next couple of week. EVAA/VAA Merge: VAA and EVAA financials are being reviewed. Review will be done before the end of the year. ByLaws are being combined. Will be reviewed as a group in the near future. Dual boards will start meeting in February/March timeframe. Time and location will be set at a later date. Keep the kids playing is the ultimate goal of this merger. One website. Two agencies. One 501C3. Financials will be separate, just administrative process. Thursday, December 3rd meeting at VAA for anyone who can make the meeting. Financial Update/Treasurer’s Report/Review/Approve Financials: Approved Program Budget Approvals: No budgets this month Field/Gym Update: Gym space feedback is good. Working on spring field allocation.
Admin Report Annual meeting setup underway. Looking for donations. Invites both email and print this year. Addresses may be needed for some of the invitees. Electronic invite will be sent out MidDecember. Snail Mail will be sent early January.
Committee Reports: No reports Concussion Director: Things are going well. Coaches are being helpful about getting their paperwork in. Researching ways to streamline the process.
