Welcome from Eleanor Guess what, quilters! In a few weeks, I will be bringing my Quilter’s Dream Retreat to the Phoeniz, Arizona area for a full weekend of quilting fun! That’s right – quilters from all over the area will gather for three days of hands-on quilting classes, sharing tips and more. My friends and I will be there, and I hope you’ll be there, too! Even though I’ve been teaching quilting for years, I never stop learning – great quilters like you are such a source of inspiration and knowledge. I will be sharing techniques from my books, patterns and quilts in the “E” Variety Quilt Show during the evening lecture. During the Quilter’s Dream Retreat, you’ll enjoy three, hands-on quilting classes, and an evening lecture event and book signing. Think of this retreat as more of a quilting party! Hole in the Wall Runner
The clean lines and geometric shapes of this quilt block make it ideal for piecing on the serger. The original pattern was designed by Quilt in a Day using design concepts from the “Modern Quilt Movement”, bold colors and prints and graphic areas of solid color. Baby Lock has adapted this versatile quilt using a ¼” seam on the serger. The entire quilt top will be constructed on the serger, making this project fast and fun. Once you have made one, it’s impossible to stop there!

Piece of Cake
Whether you are a chocolate or vanilla cake fan, this quilt is as much fun to make as eating a piece of cake. Using 10” x 10” squares, you will create a simple nine patch block. Quilt in a Day has designed quick and easy cutting techniques to create the final block. Baby Lock has added machine embroidery and decorative stitches to the quilt blocks for added interest. This stunning quilt is fun and easy! You will be hooked after the first piece!

A modern flair to a classic wedding ring pattern is sure to have you spinning in circles. Using modern, bold and graphic fabrics and Eleanor’s foolproof techniques, you are sure to be hitched by the end of the day. Once again, Quilt in a Day transforms a traditional quilt pattern, creating a fun and easy quilt.
