MOBILE: 07453656109 SKYPE ACCOUNT: FABIFOR14 My name is Fabiana Forni. I am a press and communication officer, PR experienced with a degree in communication, a diploma in foreign languages, and a background in journalism. I moved to London to pursue my career, constantly looking for new experiences to enrich my skills and ready to bring my own talent and knowledge. For five years and a half I’ve been working for a communication agency in Italy as press officer, planning and organizing events, writing press releases in 4 languages, outlining marketing strategies. I came to this job after my university degree in communication and internships in journalism, because I’m fascinated by everything that revolves around it: after 5 years in the same position I felt ready to take my career to another level, proving and improving myself by moving to a different country to exploit my abilities and learn more. I’m enthusiastic about my job and what allows me to do, especially when it comes to promote important messages and create something from scratch. I have a solving problem’s attitude and I’m used to work under pressure on short deadline. I’ve always combined my skills with a keen attention to details and client’s needs, providing a good professional service and a good customer care. I’m experienced in different ways of communication, media and languages. I participated the realization of publications (house organs, newsletters), from the layout to the writing of the contents, proofreading and final editing. My attention is also addressed to social media, knowing how important they are in terms of branding and communication: I handled Facebook pages and Twitter accounts, promoting long-term campaigns and following live events, and I’m used to write contents and update websites on a daily basis. Being one of the longest employed person in my former agency I was often asked to train internists and new colleagues, I was entitled to keep record of our activities and I was bound to be able to work on a team but at the same time be responsible of my own work and take the lead. Thank to my experience and personality, I’m confident I have the necessary skills and determination to be able to work at my best in a whole new environment: during my week experience at Freud I got a closer look of the media industry in the UK, and I had the confirmation my skills and knowledge are suitable to the marketing and communication world here. I have an international experience and I always look for different angles and perspective in order to promote my message in the most effective way (dedicated contacts and mailing list, phone skills to reach out for the media, offer the right kind of content for all different media). For 20 years I’ve been in a scout group, as “Uniformed Leader” with a complete formal training: I learned how to handle people of different ages, complex events for large groups of people and deal with the different dynamics. This experience taught me how to be in a team as an effective element, taking the support that comes from it and giving back my contribution, and had me work closely with the world of charity and volunteering. Sincerely yours Fabiana Forni
