Any coach, player, parent, spectator or official may file a complaint for what they see as a violation of the Fargo Babe Ruth Codes of Ethics, policies, or procedures. Said complaint shall include the complainant’s name and contact information, the nature of the perceived violation, the date(s) of the perceived violation, and any other pertinent information. Process: 1. After the complaint is filed the Executive Director shall contact the Disciplinary committee to set a meeting, inform the complainant that their complaint has been received, and contact the person about which the complaint was filed to inform them of the complaint. Complaint forms may be found online or at the office and submitted to the Fargo Babe Ruth Executive Director. 2. The Executive Director shall gather all pertinent information from all involved parties about the potential breach of the Code of Conduct and inform the Disciplinary committee. 3. The Disciplinary Committee shall act upon the information gained by the Executive Director and render a decision regarding the complaint and any potential sanctions. 4. For the purposes of security and safety of Fargo Babe Ruth baseball players and the potential for backlash against them, at no time shall the complainant’s name be revealed. 5. Said review and actions shall be completed within 3 business days after receiving the complaint. 6. If the outcome results in sanctions the sanctioned party may appeal to the Fargo Babe Ruth Board of Directors at the next regularly scheduled meeting of the board. Any potential sanctions shall remain in place until that meeting.
