Farnborough Volleyball Club - Your Fees Explained - from 1st September 2012 At the last AGM in May 2012 the Club agreed a new fee structure to be fairer and enable the Club to better support its Members. It also takes into account rising costs, e.g. hall hire. The figures have been reviewed by the Committee and are detailed below: Annual Club Membership ₤25 payable annually in September by cash or internet transfer. Necessary if you want to play in one of our teams during the season. It enables you to vote in our AGMs and therefore shape the Club. It gives you discounts on training fees. We decided to charge a yearly fee to help finance our teams in the league, cover part of the EVA and BVA fees and some of the coaching & training costs. training. We have developed different standing order plans to meet your needs better. The payment months will run from September to May and will need to be paid on the 1st of each month per standing order to the Club account. You would need to decide at the beginning of each month for which plan you subscribe. This should better reflect the principle “the more you play, the more you pay”. Please note that you will need to be invited to the advanced Monday sessions to attend. At this moment in time, the Committee has stepped away from different fees for people playing in more than one team as it is difficult to implement. We might look at this going forward. Standing Order Structure for Members (Jun - Aug)
Wednesday training outdoor at the Frimley Park is free. Monday training indoors can still be paid at standing order at ₤21 per month. Members with standing orders set up could leave them during the summer and get a discount of the next years Membership fee or a refund of the difference. All members going to extra training sessions not included in their standing order package will need to pay ₤6 PAYG as before. What do you need to do now?

All standing order plans include match fees. We are moving away from 12 months payments to 9 months payments in a year to reflect the time when you will receive Indoor
Going forward, sign in every time you attend an indoor session (list will be laid out). Pay your Membership fee to become a Member - together with your first September fees. Change your standing order - it needs to be set up from 1st October. We expect that you need to make the September fee manually. If you have not subscribed to a standing order or decide to go to additional training - please bring cash to pay your session. Please note: Except when agreed with the treasurer we will not accept any other payment methods (i.e. cheques, bulk payments etc) or other payment structures as detailed.
