“I like that the picture reflects on how Tanzania is like with its city/rural edge to it. I would like my walking party to notice that my pictures show the amount of apartments that are built in Dar es Salaam and the nature as well. It made me think on how much time people take to build things around this area for other people.” - Out of Eden Learn student, AT5WIST, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, “Taking Neighborhood Walks”

“I decided to walk through a little bit of Europe...I chose this place because most of my heritage is from Europe...I am part Irish, German, and French. I am partly going for the physical challenge because I love hiking and want to test my abilities and strengths. I also want to go to see the monuments, castles, and art. My walk is about 3,180 kilometers long which is 1,908 Miles. This walk will take me about fifty-four days and eight hours, if my calculations are correct...Paul has encouraged me to look closely at the small details. I am definitely going to use this strategy on my pretend walk. Paul has also taught me to interact and LISTEN to others. It helps you to understand their lifestyle and home a lot better. I have also learned from Paul to slow down, and the way to do this is to slow down everything, including your body.” - Out of Eden Learn Student who participated in Jeff Blossom’s mapping webinar, am20CA, Danville, California, United States, “Looking Ahead” (Click on the map to explore its interactive features.)
