The International Cricket Council wishes to appoint a
Human Resources Officer The International Cricket Council (“ICC”) is the global governing body for the sport of cricket. We are looking for a qualified and experienced individual to join the Support Services team. The position will be based in Dubai at the ICC’s global headquarters in Dubai Sports City. The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for administering all aspects of the HR function including but not limited to recruitment, policies, training, maintenance of the HR system and Government liaison. Principal Accountabilities Responsibilities of the Human Resources Officer will include but are not limited to the following:
Administration of HR Operations i.e. Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Training and Employee Relations
Expatriation and repatriation process for staff
Liaison with Government departments (TECOM visa processing, cancellations etc.)
Management of HR Policies and Procedures
Management of Staff Insurance policies – particularly medical aid and life insurance.
Management of the Human Resources Management System - Adrenalin
Management and control of the HR budget
Management of projects assigned by the Line Manager from time to time
Knowledge, Skills, Attitude and Experience
Degree-educated with a diploma or tertiary qualification in HR
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Good knowledge of UAE Labor Law
Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines
A team player that is also self-motivated and can work independently
Experience working with people from different cultural backgrounds and a capacity to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders
Strong budgeting and financial management skills
Computer literate including strong Word, Outlook, Excel, Database and PowerPoint skills
Conditions of employment
The position reports to the ICC’s Head of Strategic Management and Support Services, and is based in Dubai.
The selected candidate will be required to furnish two recent work references.
Compensation offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
