The International Cricket Council wishes to appoint a
Development and Cricket Operations Officer
The International Cricket Council (“ICC”) is the global governing body for the sport, which administers all aspects of international cricket. The role will be based at our headquarters in Dubai. We are currently seeking a Development and Cricket Operations Officer. The position works closely with the Head of Global Development and General Manager – Cricket to support the delivery of various meetings, conferences and events, as well as managing a range of special projects within the Development and Cricket Operations departments. Principal Accountabilities Responsibilities of the Development and Cricket Operations Officer will include but are not limited to the following:
Manage logistics, budgets and paper distribution for several of ICC’s conferences and meetings.
Coordinate pre event logistics and communication with Members participating in events such as the ICC Women’s Championship, World Cricket League and Intercontinental Cup.
Implement the ICC player eligibility database, and maintain a contact database of ICC’s Members
Manage a number of specific projects including overseeing the ICC Awards and ICC Hall of Fame voting processes, production of the Development Programme calendar, and roll out of the Development Program Annual Awards.
Assisting the Cricket Operations and Match Officials departments with logistics support and coordination of match reporting documents
Complete departmental secretarial tasks as required
Knowledge, Skills, Attitude and Experience
Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines
A team player that is also self-motivated and can work independently
Experience working with people from different cultural backgrounds and a capacity to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders
Strong budgeting and financial management skills
A passion for sport and experience of administration in a sporting or similar body
Computer literate including strong Word, Outlook, Excel, Database and PowerPoint skills
Degree level education in a relevant discipline
Conditions of employment
The position reports jointly to the ICC’s Head of Global Development and General Manager – Cricket, and is based in Dubai.

Compensation offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
