Fire FC U9 Developmental Curriculum - Season Plan Objectives

Organization Sessions per wk.

2-3 Session time

Technical: Improve individual and collective basic soccer tech. When beating players, players should NOT be exposing the ball. Tactical: Look to start switching play - because there's time and space on the opposite side. Psychological: Keep encouraging players to be fearless when learning and trying moves and being creative. Physical: Doing activities (speed ladders, relays, etc.) that challenge their coordination are recommended. By the end of the season, each player must be capable of: 1. Basic skills in 1V1 situations and basic movements with and without a ball 2. Understanding why they're asked to perform certain skills
