Registration Information • Team captains/representatives will register by following the IM Leagues Captains’ Registration Instructions. This document can be accessed on the Intramural Website by clicking the “Registration” tab on the left side of the page and then selecting the provided hyperlink. ***Note*** Registration dates are staggered throughout the Semester and may vary depending on the sport. To ensure a team’s spot in the sport, the captain must register by the given deadline. • All registration will occur via IM Leagues beginning Monday, January 8 and will end the morning of Wednesday, January 24 at 11:00 am. • Fraternity, Men’s, Women’s, and Co-Rec Leagues are available. Winners of each league will receive an Intramural Championship t-shirt. Activity Format • Teams will play 2 nights in the regular season, 3 games per night for a total of 6 games. Games are played 6:00-10:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. • All leagues are open to currently enrolled ECU students/SRC Members and presently employed ECU faculty/staff. • Non-SRC member faculty/staff must purchase an Intramural “Limited Pass” for $15 in order to participate. General Information • Regular season will begin Monday, January 29. • Schedules may also be found on the Intramural website at the address below. • Games will be played on the racquetball courts in the Student Recreation Center. Playoff Information • Teams must win at least ONE regular season game and have satisfactory sportsmanship to be eligible. • Playoff schedules will be posted Friday, February 9 by Noon. • Playoffs will begin Monday, February 12. • Teams may be scheduled to play on different nights during the playoffs than during the regular season. • If the majority of players on a team have an academic or religious scheduling conflict, or play another intramural activity that may conflict with playoff schedules, requests may be made by the team captain to the sport manager to avoid potential conflicts. These requests must be made at least 48 hours prior to the release date of the playoff schedules. • Efforts will be made to avoid these conflicts, but requests do not guarantee there will be no conflicts.
