Instructions to complete “Flora Teardrop” earrings: Step 1 Apply Gilders Paste to charms as desired and allow to dry per product instructions. (Use paint thinner or acetone to soften or thin Gilders Paste as necessary.) Step 2 Optional: Seal with Renaissance Wax or clear acrylic spray. Step 3 Place these beads in the following sequence onto one eye pin: 1 – 6mm Pewter Hammertone Bead Cap (cupped side away from the eye) 1 – 8mm Crystal Moonlight Swarovski Crystal Rondelle Bead 1 – 6mm Pewter Hammertone Bead Cap (cupped side toward the previous bead) Step 4 Using round nose pliers, turn a larger simple loop (see Simple Loop Technique) at the open end of the eye pin, making sure the loop is large enough for the charm to fit. Step 5 Using chain nose pliers, open the loop from step 4, and attach it to one flora charm. Close the loop. Step 6 Open the loop on one silver ear wire (see Attaching an Ear Wire Technique), and attach it to the loop on the other end of the eye pin. Close the loop. Step 7 Repeat Steps 3-6 for the second earring.
