Amanda Cooper received her Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Psychology, along with Certification in Diversity Management, from Cleveland State University. She has an extensive background in sales, management, adult learning, training and development. This has provided her with invaluable experience and insight into both the challenges and rewards that come from recruiting, developing and retaining a diverse workforce. Amanda is currently working towards a PhD in International Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. This program provides graduates with the skills that are necessary to design, evaluate, and lead international programs that result in better business outcomes for corporations, governmental, and non‐ governmental organizations. At the Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio, Amanda specializes in the development and facilitation of change management and organizational development initiatives, and programs relating to culture, cultural competence, diversity, inclusion, intercultural communication and conflict resolution in the workplace.
