Elder: In this is love, not that we have loved God People: but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. ^Hymn of Thanksgiving: “There is a Fountain,” #253

49. Q. How does Christ's ascension into heaven benefit us? A. First, He is our Advocate in heaven before His Father. Second, we have our flesh in heaven as a sure pledge that He, our Head, will also take us, His members, up to Himself. Third, He sends us His Spirit as a counter-pledge, by whose power we seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God, and not the things that are on earth.
One day when Heaven was filled with His praises One day when sin was as black as could be Jesus came forth to be born of a virgin Dwelt among men, my example is He Word became flesh and the light shined among us His glory revealed
