RobotCoders After-School Club RobotCoders is a new type of After School Club for children in Year 4 that is designed to get children of all ages excited about technology and confident using computers by programming real robots! The club is run by an experienced technology teacher using fantastic softwear to guide every child from the very basics of clicking a mouse right through to programming real robots! Each session will have an exciting Robot challenge and are designed to be extremely fun and very interactive. As well as using computer science skills, RobotCoders also focuses on science, technology, engineering and maths. The club will run after the Easter holiday for 5 weeks beginning on Monday 18th April, from 3.30pm – 4.30pm. Please note that there will be no session on Monday 16th May and the final session will be on Monday 23rd May. The cost for all 5 sessions will be £30. Cheques should be made payable to ‘RobotCoders’. There is a limit of 12 places available in order to ensure that every child will get the maximum help needed to achieve the most that they can. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis so a prompt response is advised. If you are interested in your child taking part in this club, please complete the slip below and return along with full payment to your child’s class teacher by Friday 19th March at the latest. In the event that all club places are filled before this date a text message will be sent to notify parents and carers that no further payments can be accepted.
