Reverse Bevel Stop The Reverse Bevel Stop can be fitted to the Ultimat Gold or Ultimat matcutter to produce a reversed bevel mat without over or under cuts. These mats can then accept ‘slips’ or ‘fillets’ producing a clean tight joint between the slip and the mat.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Remove the sticker from the right hand end of the End Plate and slide the reverse bevel scale in the adjacent slot. If the scale feels loose in its groove twist the scale a little before sliding it in.
Slide on the Stop and set it to 8cm [3"]. Remove the Margin Guide
Set the Start of Cut (green) & the End of Cut (red) to 8cm [3"] and place a piece of matboard in machine as shown, coloured side down. Make one cut using the Start and End of Cut stops in the normal way. Measure the border width and slide the Reverse Bevel Scale so the stop reads the actual border width cut. Reset the Stop to 8cm [3"] if necessary. Now cut the other three sides. Measure the overcuts, these will normally be about 1mm [1/16"]. Either calibrate the start and end of cut stops accordingly or if you are going to go back to cutting regular mats you can just increase the stop settings accordingly (ie set them to 8.1 [3 1/16"]) rather than upsetting the previous calibration.
