Cutting Instructions: Selvedge edge FROM EACH OF THE FOUR FAT QUARTERS • Cut two strips 6½” x 18” (approx.); sub-cut each strip into two 6½” x 8½” rectangles (for a total of four rectangles from each fat quarter) • Cut one strip 6½”x 18” (approx.); subcut into 18” five 3½” x 6½” rectangles from each fat quarter

FROM EACH OF THE TWO FRAME FABRICS • Cut eight strips 1½” x width of fabric; subcut into thirty-two 1½” x 8½” rectangles • Cut one strip 3½” x width of fabric; subcut into four 3½” x 6½” rectangles and two 3½” x 3½” squares

SASHING FABRIC • Cut four strips 1½” x width of fabric; subcut into twelve 1½” x 10½” rectangles • Cut three strips 1½” x width of fabric; subcut into three 1½” x 35½” rectangles • Cut three strips 1” x width of fabric; join to make on long strips and then subcut into two strips 1” x 43½” • Cut two strips 3” x width of fabric; subcut into two strips 3” x 36½” FROM THE BINDING FABRIC: • Cut six strips 2½” x width of fabric.

BLOCK ASSEMBLY: 1. Sew a 1½” x 8½” Frame One (dark) rectangle onto each side of a 6½” x 8½” Fat Quarter One rectangle. Press toward the Frame One fabric. Sew a 1½” x 8½” Frame One rectangle to the top and bottom of the same fabric. Press toward the Frame One fabric. Repeat with all four Fat Quarter One 6½” x 8½” rectangles. Then, make another set of four using the rest of the Frame One fabrics and the Fat Quarter Two 6½” x 8½” rectangles.

2. Sew a 1½” x 8½” Frame Two (light) rectangle onto each side of a 6½” x 8½” Fat Quarter Three rectangle. Press toward the Frame Two fabric. Sew a 1½” x 8½” Frame Two rectangle to the top and bottom of the same fabric. Press toward the Frame Two fabric. Repeat with all four Fat Quarter Three 6½” x 8½” rectangles. Then, make another set of four using the rest of the Frame Two fabrics and the Fat Quarter Four 6½” x 8½” rectangles.

QUILT ASSEMBLY: 1. Using the diagram below for reference, sew the fat quarter blocks into rows with 1½” x 10½” sashing strips in between. Then, join the four rows together with the three 1½” x 35½” sashing strips. Press seams toward the sashing strips.

2. Using the diagram below for reference, join the two 1” x 43½” sashing strips to the sides of the quilt, followed by the two 3” x 36” to the top and bottom. Press seams toward the sashing strips.

3. Using the diagram below for reference, make two side borders, each with eight of the 3½” x 6½” rectangles. Join to the sides of the quilt. Make the top and bottom borders, each with six of the 3½” x 6½” rectangles and one 3½” x 3½” square on each end. Join to the top and bottom of the quilt.
