Frequently Asked Questions What is Eat Move Lose? Eat Move Lose is a new 6 week weight loss programme which combines weekly nutrition & exercise sessions. The programme is run by Emma Carder, an experienced Registered Dietitian and Rob Lunn an accomplished Personal Trainer. Both Emma and Rob are highly qualified in their professional fields and have significant weight management expertise.

Why is Eat Move Lose different? Studies show that a combined approach is the most effective way to lose weight and keep it off for the long term. As well as providing you with up to date nutritional weight loss advice, behavioural change tips and an on-going support network, Eat Move Lose also gets you up off your seat for some energising physical activity sessions; based on exercises that are scientifically proven to aid weight loss!

When and where does Eat Move Lose take place? Eat Move Lose takes place on Tuesday evenings 5pm -6pm & 6pm -7pm at: IM Marsh Holmefield House Entrance South Sudley Road/Holmefield Road Junction Liverpool Merseyside L18 6DB Eat Move Lose launches Tuesday January 7th 2014.

How much does Eat Move Lose cost? Eat Move Lose is a 6 week programme costing £130. The programme offers an excellent opportunity to lose weight in a supportive & energised environment. Emma & Rob will work with you to help boost your confidence and kick start your weight loss journey. When you have completed the programme you can keep in touch with Emma, Rob and fellow class members through a private online discussion group; helping you to stay on track and achieve your long term weight loss goal.

How will I remember everything? You will receive weekly handouts each week in paper format and via email with all the information you need to know about the topics that are covered; helping you to put everything into action during the week.

What happens if I miss one of the weekly sessions? Can I continue with programme? Don’t worry if you miss one of the sessions you can re join the group the following week; we will recap all key points every session, you can refer to your weekly handout for more information and home exercises.

I have an injury/illness; will the sessions be suitable? We are able to tailor exercises to suit your personal needs and have lots of experience of working with people with range of injuries/illness. Please contact Rob or Emma in advance if you have any concerns.

What clothes should I wear to the sessions? Since you are taking part in physical activities you should wear something that you are comfortable in along with appropriate footwear such as trainers. Don’t forget to bring along some water too.

How will my weight be checked? If you are happy to have your weight and BMI monitored there will be an opportunity at week 1 & 6. Eat Move Lose will also help you see how well you have done by looking beyond the scales; by seeing how good you look, how great you feel & how you are fitter than ever.

Do I need to buy any equipment for the programme? No all the activity equipment and healthy eating resources are supplied. The home workouts are based around bodyweight exercises meaning you can do the exercise anywhere, helping you maximise your time and get the most from your efforts.

How much weight are people hoping to lose during the programme? Everyone that joins Eat Move Lose will have their own personal goals and be looking to lose different amounts of weight.
