Saturday, April 30 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Join us in the historic, lantern-lit Flynn Barn as we get ready to kick off the season at the Farms! Bring the whole family for a night of oldfashioned, toe-tapping, foot-stomping entertainment by the Barn Owl Band! No experience is necessary and there is no need to bring a partner! Opening Day at the Farms
Living History Farms opens for the regular visiting season on Sunday, May 1! We hope you'll join us as we celebrate the beginning of a wonderful season. Tickets for general admission are available online for purchase or at the door. The Farms will be open 12:00 - 4:00 pm on Opening Day.
Youth Appreciation Day We'd like to say thank you to all the youth groups and organizations that have supported programming at the Farms over the years. We are offering free admission on opening day, Sunday, May 1 for any youth in Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4-H, or FFA. Simply wear your uniform or present a membership ID to receive free admission. Group leaders will also be admitted at no charge.
Summer Day Camp Junior Counselors Needed We still have openings for our summer volunteer Day Camp Junior Counselor positions! Teens ages 14 years or older can come out to the Farms and help with a variety of hands-on activities at our historical sites during Summer Day Camp for up to two weeks. Counselors will receive training in advance. This is a wonderful opportunity to be a role model for younger children. Learn more and apply today
Postcard Giveaway Be sure to head out to the Farms in May to receive a one-of-a-kind piece of LHF History! The first 100 visitors to the Farms on Sunday, May 8, 15, or 22 will receive a special gift.
