Fall Bible Study - Thursday evenings, 7PM at FUMC

Fall Bible Study - a Wednesday afternoon Bible Study is being held at the home of Dot Workman each week at 1PM. The study, Is This the End? – comparing prophecy of the Old Testament to the current events happening in our world today – is open to everyone who wishes to attend. (Please contact Dot if you need directions.) Dear FUMC & Prayer Quilt Ministry – I received your beautiful prayer quilt yesterday and I felt the peacefulness from your prayers as I held it. I’ve been very familiar with your ministry since I have given many of your quilts to residents at FNRC. I have always marveled how beautiful and well done each quilt is. It is a wonderful, meaningful, and worthwhile ministry – so keep up the effort. Even though you may not always get a thank you, your impact to so many people is felt and echoed throughout the community. I said a prayer of thanks as soon as I got the quilt and will keep it close as I walk the cancer road. It will help me to focus on all the blessings I have in my life.

Thank you again for your caring and continuing this wonderful ministry. Never thought I would be one of the recipients; but life is like that, isn’t it? Love, Suzanne Carley
