FRP-250 External Brix Check
In this setting when a corresponding touch pad is pressed water or syrup will be dispensed for a fixed duration in order to check your ratios using funnel & standard brix cup.

F1 or F5 Key Pad

With the key switch still in the “OFF” position, press and hold the F1 key pad button for the left side or F5 for the right while turning the key switch back to the “ON” position for 3 seconds.
•
Upon releasing the F1 or F5 button the 4 LEDs around the key pad area should now be illuminated. If not illuminated the unit is not in external brix mode, repeat previous step until successful.

Place the funnel and standard brix cup under the dispense point of the water or syrup being tested and press its key pad button. (Use the illustration above for reference.) The water or syrup will be dispensed for a fixed duration in order to check your ratios.

NOTE: Use of a funnel is recommended to direct the syrup and water into the correct chambers of the cup. •
Remove the brix cup from the dispenser and tap on the counter 3 times to remove bubbles. Then place on a level surface. The correct carbonated or non-carbonated water volume should be even with the syrup volume level + / - 2 bandwidths.
NOTE: If Brix ratio is not within this range, please submit a work order into Speedway Maintenance. Speedway Maintenance will come to the location and perform the actual brixing of the fountain machine.
