A New Design— Double Column Vertical Machining Centers With more than 30 years experience in developing and manufacturing high precision machine tools, Chevalier has developed DCL type Double Column Vertical Machining Centers to meet the current and future market demand for large scale work piece machining. The FVM-DCL Series offers a heavy-duty structure, powerful spindle and state-of-the-art craftsmanship. The machine is carefully assembled to guarantee superior, dynamic running accuracy.

Standard Gear Head Spindle 6,000rpm • The spindle is supported by four Class 7 (P4) angular contact ball bearings. The whole spindle unit is heat-treated, precision grinded, dynamic balanced, carefully assembled and tested to ensure superior dynamic running accuracy.

• Two-Speed Range: The spindle has two-speeds that shift into high/low-gear spindle range and offers high torque output at low speed range for heavy-duty cutting and high-torque output at high-speed range for finish cutting. The idle running feature is convenient for work piece setup. 1700 (67")

X-, Y-, Z-axes with Premium Linear Roller Guide Ways • The entire travel of the table is fully supported by premium linear roller guide ways. Heavy-duty roller guide ways, with a 55mm width, are adopted at X-, Y-, Z-axes, which provides a better acceleration and stick-slip free, zero friction movement. • The X-axis is supported by 12 pieces and 16 pieces of sliding blocks respectively on FVM-3016DCL and FVM-4016DCL to assure the machine rigidity along with the best possible accuracy.

Extremely Rigid Structure

User Friendly Design and High Performance Control

• The main construction of the machine is a onepiece portal frame mounted on a one-piece structure that ensures the machining accuracy and stability.

• The ergonomic control box can swing for added operation
