15. a. 2 points: Student correctly names all of the line segments (the order of ̅̅̅̅, ̅̅̅ letters naming the line segments may vary). ̅̅̅̅ KT, KS ST 4.G.1 b. 2 points: Student correctly names all of the angles (the order of letters naming the angles may vary, however the position of the middle letter, the vertex of the angle, does not change). ∠KST, ∠STK, ∠TKS 4.G.1 c. 2 points: Student correctly uses a protractor to accurately draw a line segment (or line) forming a 120o angle at ∠K. Sample response: S

16. a. 2 points: Student writes an accurate equation and correctly finds the measure of the missing angle. 180° − 41° = 𝑥; 𝑥 = 139° 4.MD.7 b. 2 points: Student finds the measure of the missing angle using a protractor: 139° 4.MD.6 c. 2 points: Student gives the correct answer and an accurate explanation. Explanations may vary. Sample response: The measures of the angles found in Parts A and B are the same. This makes sense because the measure of the missing angle can be found using the information given in the problem and confirmed by measuring with a protractor. I know a straight line has an angle of 180o. I subtracted the known angle 41o to find the measure of the missing angle to be 139o. When I lined up my protractor correctly to measure the angle, I found it also measured 139o. Using either method, I should only come up with the same answer. If I got a different answer, I would know I made a mistake somewhere. 4.MD.7
