Being left with a sour taste in your mouth doesn’t have to be a bad thing. Just think of all the delicious tart foods that play a part in our diet: there’s Greek yogurt and pickles, sauerkraut and kimchi, lemons and limes and a long list of citrus fruits. And don’t forget all the assortment of sour candies for the sweet tooth. Your mission this week is to pucker up and post your favourite sour foods. Sour grapes? More like sour great!

From Mother’s Day brunches and family picnics to birthday parties and weddings, there’s a lot of spring baking to do. And Food Network’s new series, Spring Baking Championship, is here to help! For inspiration for this week’s mission, watch as the seven remaining bakers pucker up to lemons and limes and bake a springtime citrus treat for their main heat challenge in front of tough-love judges Duff Goldman, Lorraine Pascale and Nancy Fuller. If you participate along with the competitors by using lemons and limes for this week’s mission, let us know by adding the hashtag #BakingChampionship to your #gastropost and we’ll feature some of those in next week’s paper! For more information, visit foodnetwork.ca and join the baking banter on Twitter #BakingChampionship.
