INTRODUCTION This is a guide on how to remove the hard drive on this lap top. Reasons for removal of the hard drive are the current one has stopped working, or to get upgrade to a more improved hard drive.

Step 1 — Battery 

Unlock the button in the top left on the back of the laptop (So the red is showing).



The battery should be able to be removed easily now.

Step 3 — Hard Drive 

The hard drive is located on the bottom of the laptop on the left hand side.



Remove the two scores on the cover with the screwdriver specified.

Lift off the cover with the plastic opener.



Unscrew the one screw holding the hard drive in place with the same screw driver.

Slide the hard drive up and remove it from the laptop.
