Here’s how to peel, slice and dice fresh garlic. Use as an ingredient in another dish. No need to wash since you will peel the garlic. ______1.
Get fresh garlic. Get cutting board. Get knife. Get a fresh bulb of garlic, a clean cutting board and a clean, sharp knife.

Pull apart. Using your two hands, gently but firmly, pull apart as many garlic cloves from the bulb as you need.

Cut into peel. Put one garlic clove at a time on to the cutting board and, using the knife, cut off a small piece from the tip of each clove. This will make it easier to remove the peel of the garlic clove in step 4.

Peel. Using your hands and fingernails, pull the peel away from the garlic clove. Because the peel is very thin, this may take awhile. Some chefs use these whole garlic cloves. Throw away the peel.

Cut bite sized. To cut smaller, bite sized pieces, use the knife to continue cutting the garlic from step 4. This is sometimes called minced garlic.
