If you are looking for a fun 4-H project that is both challenging and rewarding look no further
THE FACTS The seeds for Atlantic Giants, sunflowers and mini pumpkins are provided by GrowMark. Pumpkin and long gourd seeds and started plants are provided by Bill Price and friends. There is no cost to members. To complete the project youth will need to bring one specimen to Giant Vegetable Weigh-In in October. To receive seeds you will need to attend the Spring Growing Meeting to pick up the seeds and plants. Information for Spring Growing Meeting: Monday, May 12TH at 6:00PM at the Letchworth High School Green House Bill Price will be there to talk about how to grow the giants and answer any questions you may have. Seeds and Plants will be distributed. Materials will be available to plant seeds so they can be started inside. If you are interested in participating fill out the tear slip on the page and drop it in the mail, bring it to the 4-H Office or email it to [email protected]. All orders need to be at the 4-H Office by April 1ST.
