GLOBAL MISSIONS HIGHLIGHT
Marlene Benz Serving in New Zealand with Cru Marlene is currently serving with Cru in New Zealand. Marlene worked in Leadership Development & Human Resources with Cru in Indianapolis for 10 years when she was invited by the leadership in New Zealand to help with their needs in Human Resources. Marlene also helps with the WorkLife Ministry in New Zealand. The ministry seeks to equip graduates to walk with God after college, to embrace their call to be a minister of the gospel in their workplace and surrounding community. She praises God for the 60 graduates who attended the WorkLife retreat in September!
PRAYER REQUESTS: l
Please pray for those who attended the retreat. That what the Lord spoke to them would take root and bear fruit in their lives.
l
Please pray that there would be a movement from the retreat resulting in a deeper community and people hearing and coming to know Christ.
l
Please pray that she would be faithful and diligent with the ministry the Lord has for her in New Zealand.
l
Please pray for her while she seeks God's wisdom for where He is leading her when her visa is up at the end of January 2018.

Sophie Jenista and Deb Anat Serving at ABWE International
Sophie and Deb serve with ABWE International prison ministry in the Philippines. Their work in the correctional institution for women has transformed the prison atmosphere by bringing troubled women to Christ. Conchita, a prisoner that they have been ministering to was recently released and is living in a nearby town. She joined their Bible study on a Sunday afternoon and gave her testimony. She shared that she was thankful for going to prison because otherwise, she wouldn't have come to the Lord. She told Sophie and Deb, "I am the fruit of your labor." She wants them to start a Bible study in her neighborhood PRAYER REQUESTS: l
Please pray that we will see every student through the Lord's eyes.

Please pray that we will walk in the power of the Holy Spirit to love others through evangelism and discipleship.
l
Please pray for Conchita as she grows in her faith and reestablishes herself in the community.
l
Please pray that more women prisoners would experience freedom in Christ.
l
Please pray for the work in Iloilo as Sophie and Deb strive to help others thrive.
l
Please pray for Sophie and Deb to get adequate rest.
