Total number of newly admitted students in School and hostel: 30 D.I.K Foundation D.I.K Foundation continues to sponsor nutritious and healthy food for the students. Mr. & Mrs. Tucker gave an assurance through an e-mail mentioning that D.I.K Foundation will continue to take care of the feeding of the school and hostel children as long as possible. Their support contributes towards greatest strength for the school. They also planned to meet us on January 2012 in Chennai. The President, Mrs.Padma Venkataraman thanked them on behalf of the trustees. Asha for Education Asha for Education continues to sponsor salaries for teaching and non-teaching staffs. Their support and collaboration has been important in retaining and motivating teachers. Sponsorship of Stationary On Month of June 2011, Mrs.Saroj S. Engineer, sponsored stationary items such as Note-books, Pencils, Bags, etc children were happy to receive.

Sponsorship of Uniforms On 20th June 2011, Capt. Sachit Sahoonja sponsored and distributed new set of uniforms to our children on his father’s birthday. On the same occasion, Mrs.Padma Venkataraman distributed Mark Sheets to 10th Std Students with great pride of 100% achievement in the State Level Board Exam. As a token of encouragement, she awarded cash prizes from her personal contribution to all the students based on their marks.

She shared her thoughts with the students to focus on their education and to make a meaningful contribution to society.
