SWA was interdisciplinary team leader for the master planning of this massive park project. The project team developed resource baselines for natural and cultural resources, socioeconomic considerations, land use legislation, and other elements bearing on the development of a park sited amid 4.5 million people. Continued public workshops defining needs and desires for recreation provided the final input for the development of a parkwide plan. SWA also developed interpretive plans and prospectuses, and resource and land management plans and options.
