Green Thumbs

It’s easy to join this group for some fun activities during your lunch period at Boynton! Break away from the usual routine. Meet new people! Hang with friends! Eat awesome snacks! Get outside and enjoy the fresh air! This free-form program is all about having fun, and getting through the rest of the school day.

Want to learn more about survival? How to build a fire? A shelter in the woods? Play some awesome nature games? Do all these things and more in this outdoor & wilderness skills program. Meets @ Enfield Elementary School. Students will take a bus from Boynton. Pick up @ Enfield Elementary. Meets @ Boynton Middle School Cafeteria. Mondays, 4:30 - 6:30 PM (Sep 26 - NOV 07) * No programs on 10/03, 10/10, 10/31 NOR 11/21 Get your hands dirty and have fun outside! We’ll play games and explore nature while learning about gardening! No experience necessary! This group will meet weekly in the Enfield Elementary School garden. The program will also include a trip to the Ithaca Children’s Garden. Meets @ Enfield Elementary. Students will take a bus from Boynton.

Join us for this fun, relaxing and free-form program where we will play games, make crafts, share stories and more! We could even take field trips to go apple picking or to a corn maze and enjoy this wonderful Fall weather! The possibilities are endless! Join this fun & industrious crew to get ready for Enfield’s Annual Harvest Festival! Then volunteer at the festival on 10/01 to see your efforts pay off as our community enjoys this special event! Find out by joining this competitive and fun cooking program. Learn your way around the kitchen and build essential skills. New to cooking? No problem! All skill levels welcome!

*Note: Students must be at least 12 years old to participate in this program.

Have some hands-on, meaningful experiences and meet new people (and cute fuzzy critters!) as a youth volunteer! We’ll be visiting places all over Tompkins County, with possibilities including the SPCA, Treman Park, Cornell Plantations, the Ithaca refugee center, and more! Meets @ Boynton Middle School Lobby.
