Wizarding Wednesdays Join us for an after-school session in the Boynton Middle School cafeteria, where we’ll join other Ithaca-area youth to explore the Wizarding World. Youth will have a chance to play Magic, The Gathering, as well as Dungeons and Dragons. The program will also focus on Harry Potter, ending with a fieldtrip to Wizarding Weekend on the Ithaca Commons.

Creative Crafts Try some things you (hopefully) haven’t done before! Activities will include candle-making, jam-making, book-binding, and letterpress t-shirts. Youth will also make an appearance at Danby’s own Harvest Festival, where they will teach community members how to create a fun and simple craft. Location TBA.

Primitive Pursuits 4th & 5th Grade

Meet behind Dotson Park at June Pollack’s house (45 Hornbrook Rd.) in Danby. A guest instructor from Primitive Pursuits will guide us through various outdoor activities in the park including shelter construction, carving, fire-building, outdoor crafts, and nature awareness activities.

Fridays: Join us during lunch for games, snacks, crafts, and bonding with other members of the Danby community.

Boynton Lunch Bunch Wednesdays: Join us during your lunch period in the Boynton cafeteria for games, snacks, and crafts. We’ll join youth from all around Ithaca, as well as youth program managers Beth and Eric.

Yes, I give permission for my child to fully participate in 4-H Rural Youth Services programs and to ride in Cooperative Extension program van if necessary to get to and from activities, field trips and to transport youth home if necessary. Yes, I give permission for program staff and/or other emergency care personnel to administer first aid or medical treatment in the event of an emergency involving my child. Yes, my child requires prescription or over the counter medication during the trip. A PRN order must be obtained by child’s physician, the child must be able to self-administer the medication, which should come in the original container with only the specific dosages necessary for the duration of the trip.
