MISSION STATEMENT:
Defensive Back
The mission of the UMass Football Gridiron Club is to strengthen the University of Massachusetts’s football program by encouraging private giving and volunteer leadership from Minutemen across the country. The Gridiron Club shall support initiatives as requested by the Head Football Coach and the University of Massachusetts Athletic Department.

Now is the time to help write the next chapter in UMass football history. I encourage you to join others who have stepped forward as members of the Gridiron Club as you’ll play an integral role in our success. I am so grateful for each and every one of you and the support you provide the program. It is my sincerest hope that you will join the Gridiron Club and commit to its mission to provide the assistance necessary to allow the program to pursue every opportunity for our student-athletes. I look forward to seeing you this coming season.

GRIDIRON CLUB BENEFITS
Elite Level
We’ve won a National Championship, participated in postseason bowl games, appeared in 8 FCS playoffs, produced over 40 NFL players and won 21 conference titles over the last 60 years.
Touchdown Level
The UMass Gridiron Club is the official booster club for the football program at the University of Massachusetts. Being a member of this club provides the opportunity to meet other loyal UMass Football friends and fans while supporting the program. Gridiron Club members provide financial support as requested to help the Minutemen compete at the FBS level and sponsor functions for club members. Funds raised by the Gridiron Club go directly to support the UMass Football program. Funding and functions are consistent with the applicable NCAA rules covering booster clubs and their supporters.
I would like take this opportunity to tell you how excited I am to once again be the head coach of your UMass Minutemen. Winning the National Championship in 1998 was one of the greatest experiences of my life and I am so glad to be back home. I feel I can make a bigger impact than I have ever made in my life with people young, old and in between at the University of Massachusetts and that’s what I am really excited about. With three home games back on campus this fall we look forward to sold out crowds cheering on our Minutemen.
