Gridiron Meeting Minutes July 19, 2016 Meeting called to order: 7:12 pm Attendees: Tim Keller, Coach Sleek, Phil Lamos, Mark Rudler, Tim Hanks, Teri Simpson, Justin Bruno, Melissa Nolan, Donna Swan, Chris Swan, Christi Gielink, Leigh Wojkowski, Kelly Ryan, Paul Conn, Kara Reutter, Ken Tinner, Karen Pertz, Tanya Reynolds. Minutes from last Meeting: Meeting minutes from June 25th reviewed and approved by Justin Bruno and Donna Swan. Treasurer’s Report: Last meeting: One Mulch sale complaint needed corrected – bought mulch. PowerPay Fee needs to be reviewed. ME Shamaugh check needs to be given to her. Purchased an approved airpump. Upcoming expenses: J.C. Camp $11K; may be under. Uniform order – est $4K Helmet stickers $700 Trap Chute - $3200 which will be reimbursed Miller Marut run. Upcoming expenses from Golf Outing and Tailgate. Also, Tag Day is at end of August. iPads for HUDL program to be reimbursed from Miller Marut run / fund. August 13th Concord Town Hall @ 8:00 am. Run / Walk. Pre-register @ Facebook Miller Marut run. Players will pay for jersey w/ name on back then players will get to keep it at the end of their senior year. – Motion: Ken Tinner / Justin Bruno Old Business: -
iPads for HUDL program. Talked with M. Mlakar who is in touch with Apple rep to purchase. LifeProof / OutterBox to protect the iPad. Trap Chute to be reimbursed. Gold Cards available. Justin asks how to reimburse yourself for the fees. Mattress Sale came in about $3000 and a check will be distributed this coming week. Mark Rudler – Website.

Golf Outing foursomes – Lite on foursomes. 10 am shotgun. Zappetelli’s will need a food count Tailgate – Chairs: Teri Simpson and Kara Reutter. Teri Simpson had a request from AMSCO which needs to be near power outlet. Tim had requests from Soccer Team. Tailgate T-Shirts: Need update from Val Hanks. Should have something within the next week.

Anytime Fitness: Fundraiser Sat noon – Sun noon. Special Wish: 3 kids with cancer. Est. fundraiser approximate $24K and they will make a donation to the Athletic Department.

Riverhawks helped out with assessments. Geneva 7v7 and Lineman camps. 2 games each. On 7/18 Aurora 7v7 tomorrow 7/20: JV and younger kids will be included but no lineman. John Carroll on Thursday; Boys here at 8:00; Leave at 8:30 and will arrive on Saturday about 5:00 pm. J.C. will bring in one school and we can get cart- blanche; Weight room, stadium time, etc, etc, etc. Team building events. Gauge team; St. Joe’s will be there Thursday night to scrimmage. Night of senior speeches. Hero’s in their lives, etc, etc, etc. More value in bonding time. Equipment requests: 8th grade: 40 practice jerseys; numbered white mesh; 40 skull caps for varsity / 8th grades. 8 TDY footballs requested; 7th grade requesting dark game jerseys; may have some from varsity. About 45 of them George has purchased helmets and shoulder pads (40 pads and 45 helmets; Revo Speed (not bad); Varsity gets 1st dibs on everything will filter down. Tim asks Coach Bors about physicals on file with the school. If the physicals are not on file for football season, bring a copy for the John Carroll camp.

New Program Sponsors. Will have a letter sent out looking for program sponsors. Need to know when team photos will be.
