Growing Churches & Leaders That Impact the Dominican Republic “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” Timothy 2:2

March, 2018 Dear Praying Partners, Well, I have been looking forward to writing this letter for a few weeks. I mentioned last month about our first Missions Conference - “Beyond La Vega”. Well, we were not disappointed. Pastor Gary Hale with whom we served for 4 years in San Pedro, preached the conference, challenging us to trust the Lord for the impossible. Since this was our first conference, I was not sure how our church would respond. Sunday I was blown away by the faith of our people, as they by faith promised to give very generously. Of course it’s one thing to make a promise, and another to actually give, so we ask your prayers for your Dominican brothers and sisters in Christ, as they trust the Lord to provide, just as you all are doing. I am excited to see how God grows us all through our involvement in Missions Worldwide. We hope to begin supporting two missionary families very soon. I mentioned to you all last month about the opportunity we have to minister in a local public school. Well when I dropped Cody off at the front gate of the school today, 80-100 kids started chanting “COO DIII”. It was an awesome illustration of cross cultural connection. He is giving his life for those kids. They don’t understand why he does it yet,, but they are giving him the chance to share the Gospel with them. In fact, the school director/principal has been so pleased by the Kids Klubs that she has given Cody the green light to come every day as the school schedule permits. Cody is working alongside of Roberto, a young leader in our church and the school counselor. Please pray for them as they lead every class from grade 1 to 6 through the key stories of the Bible. There is a real need in the barrio of Los Martinez for the light of the Gospel. We would like to start an outreach to the families in the coming months. Please pray for these families. It is a rough barrio, but God has started something in Los Martinez. Please keep praying, giving and trusting God. Your ministry is bearing fruit!
