Our next regular season game is an away game on this SATURDAY, 9/16 at Susquenita’s field at Wagner Park, 600 Paradise Road, New Bloomfield, PA 17068. Smurfs need to arrive at 10:00 to play @ 11, Pee Wees arrive at 10:45 to play @ noon, Ponies arrive at 12:30 to play @ 1:30, Midgets arrive @ 1:45 to play @ 3:00. Dress is BLACK pants & WHITE jersey.
WE NEED HELP!!! We need someone to film the Smurf games this season. We can make a camera available if you do not have one. This will count towards your help requirement of two games per family. Please see Art Poorman if you are willing to do this important job! Thank you!!!
GUN RAFFLE! We are holding another gun raffle to raise money for WPMFA. Please see Pam Keller or ask at the shed for tickets.
URGENT REMINDER! Hydration starts long before practice or a game. Please ensure that your child is drinking a lot of water during the day before practicing/playing. Drinking too much during exercise can cause cramps and other issues, so
please make sure your child is hydrated all day. Drinking water is best. Stay away from sodas, which can contribute to dehydration.
* Please park only in the parking lot behind New Bloomfield Elementary or behind the tree line (enter by Karns). * PLEASE help us keep the field clean. If you don’t clean up your trash, one of us has to stay late to do it. Please help us get home at a reasonable time with our kids, too. ☺ * There is no smoking on any school property. That includes the practice field, WPHS Stadium, the parking lot at WPHS and at away games. * Our website is www.WPMidgetFootball.com.
