The next JV Smurf game is this Saturday, 9/23 at East Penn Scheaffer Field, 909 Wertzville Rd, Enola, PA 17025. Players must arrive at 11:45 for the 12:45 game start. Dress is BLACK pants and GREEN jersey.
Our next regular season game is a HOME game on this SUNDAY, 9/20 at WPHS. Smurfs need to arrive at 11:00 to play @ noon, Pee Wees arrive at 11:45 to play @ 1:00, Ponies arrive at 1:30 to play @ 2:30, Midgets arrive @ 2:45 to play @ 4:00. Dress is BLACK pants & GREEN jersey.
HOME GAME HELP Please see Facebook for a list of volunteer slots still available for this weekend. We are especially short-handed for the Midget game because many of the people who usually work during that game have sons/daughters playing or cheering at the Midget level. Please help so we can all watch our kids play/cheer! Thank you!
GUN RAFFLE! We are holding another gun raffle to raise money for WPMFA. Please see Pam Keller or ask at the shed for tickets.
WILL YOU FILM OUR SMURFS? We need someone to film the Smurf games this season. We can make a camera available if you do not have one. This will count towards your help requirement of two games per family. Please see Art Poorman if you are willing to do this important job! Thank you!!!
URGENT REMINDER! Hydration starts long before practice or a game. Please ensure that your child is drinking a lot of water during the day before practicing/playing. Drinking too much during exercise can cause cramps and other issues, so please make sure your child is hydrated all day. Drinking water is best. Stay away from sodas, which can contribute to dehydration.
* Please park only in the parking lot behind New Bloomfield Elementary or behind the tree line (enter by Karns). * PLEASE help us keep the field clean. If you don’t clean up your trash, one of us has to stay late to do it. Please help us get home at a reasonable time with our kids, too. ☺ * There is no smoking on any school property. That includes the practice field, WPHS Stadium, the parking lot at WPHS and at away games. * Our website is www.WPMidgetFootball.com.
