Harwood Hill JMI and Nursery School 27th May 2016 Puzzle Day! What a fantastic day! Today we have enjoyed a puzzle challenge day organised by The Happy Puzzle Company. The children tackled a variety of puzzles and challenges which they worked on together in teams. Our children were noted by the organiser for: their ability to work effectively as part of a team; their behaviour; their problem solving skills and their 'staying power'. They really did make us all very, very proud. A BIG thank you to The Happy Puzzle Company and also to the FOHH team for funding the day. Also, a special thank you to Mrs. Branagan for organising the day. It is experiences like this which make a real difference to the education of our children.

KS2 Production The cast list for our exciting new production is being finalised this week. We are all looking forward to launching rehearsals next half term. Those parents who have attended any recent Harwood Heroes Assemblies have had a taste of some of the singing to expect, but we assure you we have many surprises up our sleeves. Watch this space for more information.
Year 3 artefacts Year three have had fun this week exploring their new Stone Age and Ancient Egyptian artefact boxes. They have handled so many exciting items including a replica Stone Age spear and arrow heads and some replica ancient Egyptian jewellery. Year 3 and Miss Sparkes would like to extend a HUGE thank you to the FOHH for their gift and we all look forward to using the items alongside our learning in the final half term!
Goodbye and Good luck Sadly, Mrs. Stafford and Miss Moss will be leaving the Harwood Hill team. Both have chosen to move on in their careers. We want to wish Mrs. Stafford and Miss Moss the very best wishes in their new ventures. Many thanks to them both for their amazing devotion and hard work.
