BCH Together we can do more!
Baptist Children’s Homes (BCH) exists because North Carolina is a mission field populated with children who are hurting emotionally, suffering physically, and are in desperate need of a safe haven. They are often unchurched and unaware of the transforming love of Jesus Christ. Partners are essential in helping Baptist Children’s Homes. They share their time, talents and resources to meet the daily needs of BCH’s boys and girls across the state.
HBC goal is to raise $844.40 for BCH by collecting a Mile of Pennies. One penny may not seem like much, but if you add another penny and then another penny and continue to multiply the pennies...you can go a long way in making a real difference. Do you know that one 12 oz. soda can hold about 550 pennies?
Another way to support BCH is through recycling empty printer cartridges (laser, inkjet, and fax cartridges), cell phones, ipods/mp3's, and other small electronics to help earn money for children. A container to place these items will be available year-round at the Family Life Center entrance.
Prayer Guide for BCH Week of Prayer NOVEMBER 15 - 22 Sunday: Pray for North Carolina children and families. Monday: Pray for the hundreds of children and families BCH serves each year through its 19 statewide locations. Tuesday: Pray for the dedicated houseparents, residential care givers, and social workers who give of themselves around the clock to care for our boys and girls. Wednesday: Pray for the Good Shepherd Children's Home, BCH's new orphanage in Xela, Guatemala. Thursday: Pray for those who live at BCH's nine statewide homes for developmentally disabled adults. Friday: Pray that you will be sensitive to hurting children in your community. Saturday: Pray for BCH president/CEO Michael C. Blackwell as he leads the ministry. Sunday: Pray that BCH's residents will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
80% of BCH’s residents come into care unchurched. Please give to the ANNUAL OFFERING and help show the unconditional love of Jesus to children and families in desperate need.

You will surely want to be here to hear her amazing story! Bring your family and invite your friends to come too! Lottie Moon has come to personify the missionary spirit for Southern Baptists and many other Christians, as well. The annual Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for Missions has raised a total of $1.5 billion for missions since 1888, and finances half the entire Southern Baptist missions budget every year. Our church goal for this year is $8,000. Ask God what He would have you give, then give accordingly.
