Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina (BCH) brings hope and healing to children and families in crisis. For more than 130 years, this nonprofit organization has offered caring homes to countless boys and girls who come from circumstances ranging from family dysfunction to situations of abuse, neglect and abandonment. The organization provides a myriad of services including children's residential care, family care for single mothers and their children, homes for developmentally disabled adults, weekday education, and a resource-based program for aging adults. Pray about how God would have you give to be a part of this vital ministry to so many. Your generous gift will bring hope and immediately make a difference in the lives of our children and families.

Operation Christmas Child upcoming dates and reminders - Time to wrap things up! Collection deadlines for boxes at Hermon and their dedication will be Sunday, November 5. National Collection Week is November 13-20, so late boxes will still be accepted at the UBA office in Monroe through that week at certain times. Please remember, starting this year, you cannot include candy, gum, food or toothpaste due to increased restrictions on those items. But do include toothbrushes, with covers. Postage for each box this year is $9, payable by check in the box, or it can be paid online at samaritanspurse.org. Always include a personal note, and picture, if possible.
