HILITES:

This ranch is on the North end of Nebraska’s 19,000 square miles of Sandhills. The Sandhills sit atop one of the largest underground water sources in the world, the Ogallala Aquifer. Two miles North of the ranch is the Niobrara National Scenic River which was designated by Congress in 1991. National Geographic lists a Niobrara River float trip amongst its’ top 100 adventures. There are approximately 180 falls along this stretch of river, the tallest of the spring-fed falls is Smith Falls with a drop of 70 feet before flowing into the Niobrara. The Snake River Falls rushes over a 54 foot wide ledge before the 12 mile journey to the Niobrara. The Snake River is the premier trout stream in Nebraska offering naturally reproducing Browns and Rainbows. The Nebraska state record 20 pound brown was caught below the Snake River Falls. © Eddie Bohn Real Estate LLC.
