HOA  GUIDELINES  

 

1. One-­‐day  Events   2. 3  Divisions     • 8&Under   Red  Ball   36’  Court   • 10&Under   Orange  Ball   60’  Court   • 10&Under   Green  Ball   78’  Court   3. Player  Eligibility   • Must  follow  the  R.O.G.Y.  Player  Pathway  as  determined  by  the  USTA/MV  (unless  they  fit   into  the  Grandfather  Clause  for  2014).    (Attached).   4. Match  Format   • Must  follow  the  USTA/MV  R.O.G.Y.  match  formats  (Attached).    Non-­‐Elimination,  no   seeding.   5. Participation  Tags   • Each  player  has  the  opportunity  to  earn  “bag  tags”  for  different  milestones  in   competition.    These  “bag  tags”  will  be  provided  to  you  by  the  Heart  of  America  District.   6. Player  T-­‐Shirts   • Heart  of  America  District  will  provide  each  first-­‐time  player  with  a  10&Under  T-­‐Shirt   which  will  have  the  name/dates  of  all  10&Under  Tournaments  printed  on  the  back  of   the  T-­‐Shirt.   7. Registration  Fee  -­‐  $25.00  per  participant   8. Sanction  Form  –  HOA  District  will  prepare  and  waive  the  sanction  fee.   9. Tournament  Collector  Pins   • Tournament  Director  should  provide  a  “tournament  pin”  that  the  player  may  attach  to   their  bag.    We  recommend  working  with  your  trophy  supplier  to  design  the  pins  so  that   each  10&Under  tournament  pin  is  distinguished  and  unique.    These  pins  will  take  the   place  of  a  t-­‐shirt.
