Required: “Holiday Snow Globe” pattern
Fabrics: The fabric requirements are found on the back of the pattern (of course choose the fabrics you like) Batting – one piece 22” by 46” approximately

1/3 yard for binding and1 yard for backing
Sewing machine in good working condition with foot pedal and cords; bring your instruction book if you aren’t very familiar with your machine
A new needle - 12/80 or 14/90

Open toe foot so you can easily see the sewing lines on the pattern and quarter inch foot and walking foot (easy feed)
Neutral thread for patch work (I prefer Aurifil) and thread for quilting (I used invisible thread for some of the quilting.)
Glue stick and scotch tape Add-a-quarter ruler

Foundation papers* (I use Carol Doak’s)
Fine pins and clips are extremely helpful
Sharp rotary cutter (a new blade makes cutting so much easier), a 45mm or 60mm and your own cutting mat if you’d like Ruler 6.5 x 12 or longer (We have rulers at the shop to use also.) A seam roller is helpful

*Copy pages 3 – 10 on the foundation paper making sure each is 100% or the same size as the original. (See the printer check found on page 3.) Important to remember: copy page 3 three times We can order out for lunch or you may bring your own
