Some of most popular designs from Judy Niemeyer, are the Hosta Series. By popular request, we are offering a “PICK YOUR OWN” Judy Niemeyer paper piecing workshop. You will have the choice of different sized quilts, as well as, different patterns. You can choose from – Fire Island Hosta, Fire Island Hosta Queen, Lakeshore Hosta, Lakeshore Hosta Queen or Lily Pond (also a queen size). During this 4-part workshop, you will have a fabulous time learning from, Certified Instructor Cindy Haddick. Cindy will share Judy’s key to success - great organization, as well as, curved piecing, a perfect ¼” curved seam, floating points & much more!! This will be a fun class for all – beginners and those that want refresher in art of paper piecing! You do not need to know how to paper piece before taking this class. Class Supply List Pick your pattern (which includes foundation papers & cutting templates). Fabric requirements per quilt Sewing Machine (in good working order) Sewing Machine Supplies (regular foot, quarter inch foot, general maintenance supplies you may need) Thread Small scissors Large Paper clips Add-A-Quarter ruler - preferably 12" Folding template Rotary Cutter - fresh sharp blade Medium Cutting mat Fabric glue pen (Sewline, Fons & Porter, etc. – used for gluing fabric to fabric) Glue pen refill Washable Glue Stick (use for gluing paper to fabric) Seam Ripper & Scotch Tape (for those "rare" moments of reverse sewing) OPTIONAL ITEMS: ½” 3 ringed binder 15 – 20 Clear Protector Sheets Purple Thang
