HOW TO COMPLETE THE IRTP WHEREABOUTS SUBMISSION FORM This document provides instructions to those cricketers selected in the ICC’s International Registered Testing Pool (“IRTP”) about how to complete and submit your quarterly whereabouts information using the ICC IRTP Whereabouts Submission Form (the “Submission Form”). Please note that you should only be using the Submission Form to submit your whereabouts information to the ICC in the following circumstances:  

You do not have access to a computer and/or the internet; or The online system ADAMS is not working.

The Submission Form enables you to manually submit your whereabouts information by completing the various sections of the form and faxing or e-mailing the form to the confidential anti-doping contacts below. You may print the submission form and handwrite your information using capital letters or complete it on your computer. ICC Anti-Doping Contacts Mobile Fax E-mail

HOW TO COMPLETE THE SUBMISSION FORM Step-1 Make sure that you have the correct Submission Form for the quarter that you wish to submit. You can check this by looking in the bottom right corner of the Submission Form. Step-2 Fill in your personal details in section 1, of the Submission Form, ‘Player Information’. Indicate if you belong (in addition to the IRTP) in any National Registered Testing Pool. This will allow the ICC to share your whereabouts information with such other AntiDoping Organisations who have authority to test you, and avoids you having to submit whereabouts information on more than one occasion to more than one organisation. If you are not sure whether you are in a National Registered Testing Pool, contact your National Cricket Federation immediately. Note: The contact details in section 1 will be used by the ICC to communicate with you in regard to your whereabouts therefore, please ensure all the contact details provided are current and accurate for the entire quarter. Please give the mobile number that you usually have on ‘roaming’ and that you are always available on irrespective of which country you may be touring. Please note that all fields are mandatory. Incomplete and/or illegible forms will not be accepted and will be returned for resubmission. Step-3 If an authroised delegate has been nominated by you (using the, ‘IRTP – Authorised representative declaration form’), to submit and update IRTP whereabouts, then section 2 of the form, ‘Authorised Delegate Information’ must be completed. Step-4 Section 3, ‘Address book’ of the Submission form contains an address book where all relevant addresses for each day of the quarter can be entered just once. When filling in the addresses in the address book you are required to enter one address per box. You must provide the full details of each address as shown in the following table. Make note of the Address Labels (e.g. 1, 5, 7, 10) against the relevant addresses as these labels will be required when filling in the calendar your whereabouts for the quarter. The address labels will avoid you having to write the address in full on each day that it relates to during the quarter. Address Book Example ADDRESS LABEL 1

Step-5 Proceed to section 4, ‘Whereabouts Categories’ and make note of the five different whereabouts categories and their respective codes. You will have to assign a whereabouts category to each whereabouts entry you make in your calendar. More than one category may be assigned to a single address e.g. If you have both training and matches at the Oval Cricket Ground address, London, SE15SS, UK, during the quarter you only need to enter the address in the address book once and then when entering details into the calendar, for days you are training use the whereabouts category code ‘RA’ and for days you are competing use the whereabouts category code ‘CO’. The five whereabouts categories and their codes are as follows: WHEREABOUTS CATEGORY Overnight Accommodation Competition Regular Activities Other Activities Travel

WHEREABOUTS CATEGORY CODE OA CO RA OT TL

Overnight Accommodation (OA) This category is used to describe your overnight residential addresses. For example, it may include the details of a hotel address (if touring) or the details of a relative’s address (if visiting family etc). It is mandatory for you to have an overnight accommodation address for every day of the quarter to indicate where you are residing overnight, however you are not required to specify a start and end time for OA. Changing your Overnight Accommodation When assigning an address to an OA category for the purpose of filling in your IRTP form, you should take care to ensure you update the address where you will be sleeping that evening. Particular attention is required when changing your OA e.g. if you are changing your OA on 24 January the only address that should have OA assigned to it on the 24th is the one that you will be in on 24th evening not the one you will be in, on the morning of the 24th.

Page 3 of 8 Update March 2012

Assigning a 60 minute time slot when changing your overnight accommodation If you are in the habit of assigning your 60 minute time slot early every morning you must take care when changing your overnight accommodation to ensure your 60 minute time slot is assigned to the correct address e.g. if you are changing your OA on 24 January then your 60 minute time slot which you intend assigning to an hour early in the morning cannot be assigned to the OA address on 24 January, as this category will have the address where you will be sleeping the night of 24 th and not where you will be the morning of 24th. In such cases you are required to enter your 60 minute time slot details by:  updating the relevant address label where the player will be available the morning of 24 Jan  assigning the Other (OT) whereabouts category to the relevant address  entering the start and end time of the 60 minute time slot to the OT address See below the example of assigning your 60 minute testing slot when changing your overnight accommodation address.

Competition (CO) This is the category you must use on match days when providing the addresses of the venue you will be competing at. You are not required to specify a start and end time for CO. Regular Activities (RA) The Regular Activities whereabouts category is used to indicate that the address you are providing is a regular activity that you may have during the quarter. Regular activities include all trainings such as, gym, training camp and net session as well as other regular activities such as school, university or your workplace.

Page 4 of 8 Update March 2012

Other (OT) The ‘Other’ category is used for one-off activities that you will be present at for a significant amount of time on any particular day for e.g. a half day or full day seminar; a function that could last all day or a lengthy meeting. Travel (TL) If you have all-day or all-night travel that prevents you from entering: (a) a 60-minute time slot or (b) an overnight accommodation or (c) both (a) and (b), then you must provide your travel plans and assign this category. You are not required to enter travel plans if they do not prevent you from providing a 60-minute testing slot and your overnight accommodation for every day of the quarter. Travel details (flight number, origin, destination, start and end time) must be entered directly into the calendar, not in the address book. See below for an example of entering for all night travel On 29 Jan the player has all night travel that prevents him from filing an overnight accommodation entry for 29 Jan but permits the filing of a 60 minute time slot. The player chooses to assign his 60 minute time slot to an address where he will be available the morning of 29 Jan (this could be the previous day’s OA). In such cases you are required to enter your 60 minute time slot details by:  updating the relevant address label where the player will be available the morning of 29 Jan  assigning the Other (OT) whereabouts category to the relevant address  entering the start and end time of the 60 minute time slot.

Step-7 It is mandatory that you specify a ‘60-Minute time slot’ for every day of the quarter. This 60-Minute time slot must be specified between 0600 and 2300 (local time) on every day of the quarter and you must be at the address specified and make yourself available for testing (if required) at your nominated time each day. Only exception to this rule is if you are travelling the entire day between 0600 and 2300. Please insert your specified ‘60-Minute time slot’ into the highlighted row at the bottom of each box for each day. Remember to include the category and relevant address (OA-3, RA-1, CO-5) as well as the start and end time (24 hour format) in the columns provided. Remember you are accountable for the 60-Minute time slot that you specify, and failure to be available for testing during the 60-Minute period could result in a ‘missed test’ which may lead to an anti-doping rule violation being declared against you and the imposition of applicable sanctions. Step-8 Complete the Submission Form with information for every day of the quarter, not forgetting to specify the ‘60-Minute time slot’ between 0600 and 2300. Note: It may be that, at the time of completing the Submission Form, you do not know exactly what your movements will be on each day during the quarter. In such circumstances, you are still required to complete the Submission Form and file it with the ICC (in accordance with the necessary deadlines), providing the required information to the best of your knowledge for each day. (Whereabouts information can be updated after Page 7 of 8 Update March 2012

submission by completing a ‘IRTP Whereabouts Update Form’). You must not leave any day without an overnight accommodation entry or a 60 minute time slot. Step-9 Once you have completed the Submission Form, please check that you have included all the mandatory information for each day (see checklist on the next page). IRTP SUBMISSION FORM CHECKLIST:  

Ensure you have completed the correct form (e.g. the correct quarter) Complete mailing address in the player information box on page 1 of the Submission Form) For every day of the quarter make sure you have entered: o Overnight Accommodation (OA) o 60-Minute time slot (address and time between 06:00 and 23:00) where you will be available for testing. o Name, address and time of each location (ensure you provide enough detail so that you are easily locatable) where you will compete, conduct any other regular activity (including training) or one-off activity for a significant amount of time. Remember to use the whereabouts category codes (OA, CO, RA, OT) and the address labels (1, 4, 2) to avoid entering the same addresses in full, on different days on the form. Remember submission of incomplete forms or failure to submit whereabouts information may result in a filing failure which may lead to an anti-doping rule violation and can result in sanctions. Contact the ICC before the due date for help or if you want them to check you have entered everything correctly.

Step-10 When you have reviewed the form and are certain it is correct, complete and sign the ‘Confirmation of Information’ section. Step-11 Send the completed form to the ICC at the contact details set out on page 1 of the Submission form, keeping a copy of the Submission Form for your future reference. Do not hesitate to contact the ICC should you have any queries regarding the Submission Form or the use of ADAMS in submitting your whereabouts information. The ICC contact details are on page 1 of this document. Remember: If, after submitting your whereabouts for the quarter, you find that your plans change, you are required to update your whereabouts information to reflect those changes e.g. change of hotel, change to your training schedule etc. You should use the online ADAMS system to update the necessary whereabouts information if your initial submission was on ADAMS. However, if you do not have access to a computer and/or the internet you can update your whereabouts information by completing and submitting the ICC IRTP Whereabouts Update Form. This Update form, along with instructions for completing it can be downloaded from the anti-doping section of the ICC’s website (www.icc-cricket.com). Page 8 of 8 Update March 2012
