“I would wear a braid every day, whether to a red carpet, on set or during school,” Liv reveals.
Begin a simple braid. Continue until you’re about ¾ of the way to the end and fasten with a ponytail holder. Repeat on the other side of your head.

Start by creating a side part and brushing all of your hair to one side. Separate a top chunk of your hair into three sections and begin a simple braid.
Once you’ve started the braid, begin a French braid by adding more hair from the side and top of your head each time you cross. You can do this by gathering a small strand from the hairline, adding it to the right section and then crossing it over the middle section. Then grab more hair on the left side, add it to that section and cross over.

Stop braiding once you’ve reached under your ear, then gather all your hair together and fasten with a clear or haircolored ponytail holder. Take a piece of hair from the underside (bottom) of your ponytail and wrap it around your ponytail. When you’re done, secure it with a bobby pin underneath.

Carefully take the ponytail holders out of each braid, holding your hair securely so the braids don’t unravel. Then fasten the braids together in back with one ponytail holder. To hide the holder like Olivia, take a small section of hair from the bottom of the braids’ end and wrap it around the fastener. Secure with a bobby pin underneath.
