How to Prayer-Walk How to Prayer-Walk Pray for OPEN HEAVENS Ask God to show you and others how He desires to bless the people. Ask that his kingdom & presence would reign in this place. Ask that they can find purpose in life through worshiping & serving the God of the Scriptures. Ask God to bless their work, crops/fishing so they would know Him as Jehovah Jireh “The Lord is my provider.” Isaiah 64:1 “Oh that You would rend the heavens & come down, that the mountains might quake at Your presence.” Pray for OPEN HEARTS Ask for wisdom to know how to best share the gospel & overcome the barriers that keep the people from coming to Christ. Ask that the people would be sensitive to listen to the gospel. Ask that God would bless them by pouring His Spirit on them through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Ask that they would believe & follow through in believer’s baptism boldly proclaiming their faith in Christ. Acts 2:17, 21 “In the last days, God says, „I will pour out my Spirit on all people‟…and everyone who call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Pray for OPEN HOMES Ask for “Persons of Peace” who will open their homes & invite others to hear the gospel. Ask that they would desire to gather in groups to study the scriptures. Ask that someday these groups would see themselves as full functioning churches ministering to their community. Ask that these churches would start more churches in neighboring villages. Acts 2:46-47 “They broke bread in their homes & ate together with glad & sincere hearts, praising God & enjoying the favor of all people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” Pray for OPEN HANDS Ask God to reveal to you & others working among the people to have wisdom how to meet physical needs. Ask God to perform miracles in this land. Ask that the new believers would immediately be filled with love & desire to help & minister to those around them. Ask that the people could be freed from any addiction or thinking that would hinder their walk with Christ. Matthew 10:7-8 “As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, and cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”
