HOW TO BACK UP FILES OVER THE NETWORK FOR
DVR SYSTEMS
MODEL NUMBERS: QSD2316L, QSTD2408, QSTD2416, QSDT8DP
STEP 1: Turn on your computer and open Internet Explorer.
STEP 2: In the address bar, enter in the IP address of your DVR (Note: If your WebCam viewer does not fit the internet explorer, right click above the “New Tab” button and disable the different toolbars that may be taking space).

STEP 3: Enter your login information (default user name is “admin” and the default password is “123456”) and click “OK” (If this screen does not appear, see the “ActiveX Controls” guide).
STEP 4: Click on the “Search” button.

STEP 5: Click on the “Backup” button.
STEP 6: Click on the date of the file you are searching for.

STEP 7: Check the boxes of the channels of the recorded file you wish to search for.
STEP 8: Click on the “Search” button.

STEP 9: Click on the files you wish to back up.
STEP 10: Click “browse” to set a destination for your backed up files.

STEP 11: Click the folder you wish to back up files to.
STEP 12: Click “Backup”.

STEP 13: A small progress bar will indicate the progress of your back up.
STEP 14: Locate the destination folder of your back up.

STEP 15: The file you backed up will be in AVI format and can be viewed with any media viewing program that supports AVI. If you cannot view the file, look at the “K Lite Codec Pack Install” guide.
